§ 20-6. Restoration of pavement after excavation.

When any excavation made pursuant to section 20-5 has been completed, the person who caused such excavation to be made shall immediately cause the street or sidewalk to be restored to as good condition, in the opinion of the mayor, as it was before the excavation or opening was made. Such repairs shall be continued until the earth is completely settled and the grade of the street conforms to its proper cross-section.
