§ 2-173. Furnishing copies of documents.

  • The town clerk shall upon request make available a copy of any ordinance or public record in the town's custody to any officer or employee of the town or to the public as provided under the Virginia Freedom of Information Act as contained in the Code of Virginia. Except for copies furnished to officers and employees of the town, the clerk shall charge a fee for copies of records as allowed by state law in accordance with town policy.
