§ 2-137. Accounts and account books generally.

The treasurer shall keep all accounts and books of account relating to the finances of the town. Such books shall be kept regularly posted up to date and shall exhibit accurate and detailed statements of all monies received and expended by the town and such other information as may be necessary to show accurately the town's financial condition or as may by required by the council.
