§ 24-42. Levy.

Latest version.

There is hereby imposed and levied by the town on each transient a lodging tax in the amount of two percent of the charge made for each room rented to such transient in a hotel or bed and breakfast. Such tax shall be collected from such transient at the time and in the manner provided in this article.
