§ 22-99. Amendments.

Latest version.

This chapter may be amended in whole or in part by the town council provided that any such amendment shall either originate with or be submitted to the planning commission for recommendation; and further provided that no such amendment shall be adopted without a public hearing having been held by the governing body. Notice of the time and place of the hearing shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Virginia. Any such amendments will be immediately caused to appear in the, official copy of town ordinances with reference to the effective date of amended sections.
