§ 16-33. Permits.

  • (a)

    General. All sales classified as a yard sale shall require a permit, which can be obtained from the town clerk for a $5.00 permit application fee. If granted, the permit must be placed in a location visible to the public during the sale.

    (b)

    Grounds for denial. An applicant's failure to pay any monies owed to the town shall constitute grounds for the denial of a yard sale permit.

    (c)

    Violation. The violation of any provision of this article shall constitute a misdemeanor subject to a fine of $25.00 per offense. Each day of continued violation shall constitute a separate offense.
